Daniel B. Reeser

DOVER - Daniel B. Reeser, 49, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Donna J. (Stephens) Reeser to whom he was married for 29 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market Street, York with Rev. Kevin T. Shively officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday in the Church parlor. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born October 25, 1959 in York a son of Larry R. and Elaine M. (Reisinger) Reeser of Dover, he was a 1977 graduate of Dover Area High School. Mr. Reeser worked for Broyhill Furniture for the past six years and prior to that had worked at Good's Furniture for 30 years. He was currently the Regional Vice President of International Home Furnishings Representative Assoc. and enjoyed home remodeling and interior design. Daniel also enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He attended St. Matthew Lutheran Church and had been a member of Harmony Grove Community Church where he served as an usher, Sunday School Asst. Superintendent for five years, and played on the Church softball team. In addition to his wife and parents, Daniel is survived by a daughter, Sarah D. Reeser of Philadelphia; a son, Seth D. Reeser of Dallastown; a grandson, Trevor S. Reeser; a brother, Ronald Reeser of Dover; two sisters, Malinda Forry and Emily Reeser both of Thomasville; 11 nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.
