Dallas L. Strickler

WINDSOR - Dallas L. "Jack" Strickler, 73, died early Friday morning, March 21, 2008, at his home. He was the husband of Rosanna V. (Hammond) Strickler who died September 27, 2006. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating. Private burial will be in Zion United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Strickler was born June 10, 1934, in Red Lion. He was the son of the late Carl and Annie (Wilwert) Strickler. He retired from ACCO after 29 years of service and had previously worked for Red Lion Borough for 10 years. He was a life member of both the Viking and Victory Athletic Associations; was a member of the New Freedom VFW Post; the Izaak Walton League; and the Red Lion Fire Company. Mr. Strickler was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenitta Kling. He will be missed by his many friends and neighbors.
