Dale H. Selleck

Troy, PA Dale H. Selleck, Age 65 of Granville Summit, PA passed away at home with his loving family at his side on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Family and friends are invited to service of remembrance at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the First Christian Church of Alba, PA. With Reverend Charlotte Morse and Mr. Dale Harper officiating. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, Pennsylvania has been entrusted with the arrangements. Dale was born October 17, 1943 in Sayre, PA son of Geraldine M. Morgan Selleck and the late Howard Selleck. He graduated from Troy High School and married the former Beverly A. Campbell on January 11, 1963. Dale was retired from Penn Central Railroad and Con Rail where he worked as a brakeman and engineer. He also enjoyed farming. Dale was a former member of the Canton Moose Club enjoyed his tractors, going for rides, fishing, feeding and watching his birds, trains and fishing. Survivors include his mother Geraldine M. Selleck, Loving wife Beverly A. Selleck, sons, Howard D. & Jody Selleck and Wyatt J. & Dody Selleck all of Granville Summit, PA daughters, Janet M. McCarty of Roaring Branch, PA, F. Candy Roberts & Ed Albertson of Orangeville, PA, Ginger Harvey of Granville Summit, PA, sisters, Jeannie & Bruce McNeil of Troy, PA, Mary & George Henderson of Yoe, PA, Debbie & Dennis Welch of Troy, PA, Gail & David Mattocks of Troy, PA, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces, nephews and cousins, special friends, Judy Haughwout of Millerton, PA, Maryann Mootz of Danville, PA, brothers and sisters-in-law, Alberta & Jack Burnside of Ulster, PA, Bill & Jean Wrisley of West Burlington, PA, Duane & Sharon Campbell of Tioga, PA, Ronnie & Emily Campbell of Horseheads, NY and many friends. Dale was predeceased by his father Howard Selleck in 2006.
