WINTERSTOWN- Dale E. Flinchbaugh (aka Skipper), 84, died Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Senior Commons at Powder Mill. Dale was preceded in death by his wife Judith A (Knaub) Flinchbaugh. They had been married for 48 years prior to her death in 2008.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Thomas E. Beck officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Winterstown U.B. Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed around 11 a.m. at HeffnerCare.com on Dale’s obituary page. 

Dale was born on May 2, 1940, in North Hopewell Township, a son of the late Stuart E and Mabel R (Hannigan) Flinchbaugh. He was a 1958 graduate of Red Lion High School and 1960 graduate of Penn State York with his degree as an electrical technician. Dale worked and retired from General Dynamics (Flinchbaugh Products) Red Lion, PA. Dale was a member of the Winterstown United Methodist Church. He was a member of the North Hopewell Winterstown Fire Co as a fireman and fire police. He loved hunting and spending time with family.

Dale is survived by 2 sons, Gary Flinchbaugh and his wife, Dawn of West Virginia, and Farrell Flinchbaugh and his wife, Christine of Seven Valleys; and 2 daughters, Annette Warner of Felton, and Belinda Pyle of Michigan. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren — David Warner, Jr, Mandy Uhland, Tyler Miller, Hunter Flinchbaugh, Lena Baker, Linda Gale, Lucinda Griffin, Lotta Miller, Nicholas Flinchbaugh, and Hayley Flinchbaugh; and 18 and one on the way great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Judy, he was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Flinchbaugh of Felton, his sister, Arlene Flinchbaugh of Red Lion, and a son-in-law, David Warner of Felton.
