Dale D. Young

LOCK HAVEN - Dale D. Young, 56 of W. Bald Eagle Street, died, Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Manor Care North, Williamsport. He was born April 16, 1953 in Lock Haven the son of the late LeRoy Young Sr. and Alice (Zerembia ) Young of Jersey Shore. Dale Formerly worked as a security officer for Pinkerton Security and also worked for a short time at Auto Lite Co. in McElhatten. He was Methodist by faith, was a former social member of the Castanea Fire Hall, Sons of Italy, Beech Creek American Legion, and the Lock Haven V.F.W. Dale loved fishing, listening to music, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Dale is survived by his wife: Deborah Young, son: Tony Young of Lock Haven, daughters: Jennifer Young and Billi Jo Young of Lock Haven and Lisa Young of Shamokin, and grandchildren: Gage, Angel, and Isaack. Also surviving are brothers: Darrel Young of Lock Haven, LeRoy Young Jr. of Avis, Roger Young of Castanea, Ellis Young of Waymart, and James Young of York, sister: Evelyn DeArco of York, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd. Mill Hall at 7:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2009. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
