Daisy M. Sharp

YORK- Daisy M. (McEvoy) Sharp, 79, of Springettsbury Township passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Llewellyn R. Sharp. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder will be officiating at the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mrs. Sharp was born in Lancaster on January 22, 1942, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Hoover) McEvoy. She worked for McCrory’s Distribution Center and later at Walmart in West York. Mrs. Sharp leaves three daughters, Tammy Kreiser and her husband Lloyd of York Haven, Sue Sharp of Mt. Wolf, and Tracy Welsh and her husband Gary of Mt. Wolf; seven grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, Jonathon, Krystina, Kyle, Tyler, and Zach; eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Charles McEvoy; and two sisters, Ann Williams and Shirl Gladfelter. She was preceded in death by her son, David R. Sharp; and four brothers, Richard McEvoy, Kenneth McEvoy, Jr., William McEvoy and Jay McEvoy; and a sister, Doris Moffit.
