YORK- D. Nadine (Bollman) Diehl, 80, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at her home. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at York First Church of the Brethren, 2710 Kingston Rd., York, with Pastor Joel C. Gibbel officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 2PM at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens the same day. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 22, 1938 in Everett, PA, the daughter of the late Vesta (Darr) Bollman. Nadine was a graduate of Everett Area High School, Class of 1956. She later graduated from the Thompson Business School. She then went on to work for 19 years as an administrative assistant at NuTec Design. Ms. Diehl was a member of York First Church of the Brethren since 1956 where she was an active member and loved participating in the Women’s Bible Study Group, People of the Covenant, and the Prayer Shawl Group. She was a member of Women In Construction, the York Quilter’s Guild and the American Quilter’s Society. Nadine was able to pass her love and craft of quilting onto many others and she will be greatly missed. Ms. Diehl is survived by a daughter, Theresa Diehl; two granddaughters, Heather and Lauren; brother, George Bollman (Barb) of KY, and two cousins, Carol of Everett and Rita of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her mother, Nadine was preceded in death by a son, William Diehl. Memorial contributions may be made to York First Church of the Brethren, 2710 Kingston Rd., York, PA 17402.
