Cynthia C. (Poff) Auchey

York—Cynthia C. (Poff) Auchey, 69, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at her residence in York Township. She was the wife of Jeffrey M. Auchey to whom she was married for 43 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born November 30, 1946 in York, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Catherine (Carr) Poff. She was employed with York Area Earned Income Tax Bureau in their data entry department for 35 years until her retirement in 2010. Cynthia loved spending time with her grandchildren and vacationing at the beach. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Auchey is also survived by two daughters, Kelly S. Pate and her husband, William of York and Tara L. Hollerbush and her husband, Mark of York; one son, Christopher M. Auchey of York; two grandchildren, Ethan and Catherine and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
