Cynthia C. Johnson

RENOVO - Cynthia C. “Cyndie” Johnson, 55, of Edgewater, MD and a former North Bend resident died Friday, October 9, 2015 in Maryland. She was born December 1, 1959 in Williamsport a daughter of the late Allan D. and Sylvia Graebner. Cynthia worked as a mortgage banker and also volunteered for The Hospice of the Chesapeake. She was an awesome mother to her only child raising her as a single mother. Cynthia enjoyed figure skating, music, dancing and animals and was a 1974 future Miss Flaming Foliage Queen. She loved being fashionable with glitz glamour and gold. She was devoted Christian and loved her family especially her grandsons and was looking forward to moving back to North Bend to be closer to her family. Surviving are a daughter Ashton (Chris Rogers) Johnson of North Bend and two grandsons Christopher and Bradlee. She is also survived by one brother Grant A. Johnson a sister Diana “Dee” McEachran one niece D. Molleigh McEachran and her grandmother June Graebner all of Edgewater, MD. A visitation for family and friends will be held from Noon – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo. Private family interment will be at North Bend Cemetery.
