Seven Valleys—Curtis R. Dillie, Jr., 46, died Monday, October 20, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Suzanne H. (Hunt) Dillie to whom he was married for 20 years. A celebration of life service will be held 8 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with Chaplain Barbara Imhoff officiating. A visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Mr. Dillie was born October 18, 1962 in Washington, a son of Curtis R. Dillie, Sr., and his wife, Stanlea of W. Newton and Sharon (Hines) Miller and her husband, Andrew J. Miller, Jr., of Amity. He was presently employed with Four Seasons Produce in Ephrata, as a warehouse manager. Curtis was honorably discharged after serving four years with the United States Marine Corps and later enlisted in the United States Army where he also served four years and was honorably discharged. He was a member of the Windsor Fish and Game Club, enjoyed hunting and fishing, a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was an avid golfer and motorcycle enthusiast. Mr. Dillie is also survived by one son, Curtis R. Dillie III of Washington, two grandchildren, Sabrina and Nicholas Thompson of Pittsburgh, two brothers, Wendell B. Dillie of Beckley, W. Va., and Andrew J. Miller III, of Amity and nine nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 101, Harrisburg, Pa 17110 or Salvation Army, 50 E. King St., York, Pa 17402.
