RED LION—Curtis L. Hoerner, 71, passed away Wednesday March 10, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Deborah R. (Walters) Hoerner to whom he was married for 45 years. A public Graveside Tribute Service will be 1PM, Friday March 19, 2021 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd, York. Officiating the service will be his pastor, the Rev. John Fritts. Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born September 5, 1949 in Lancaster, he was a son of Doris A. (Anderson) Hoerner of Dover and the late Charles M. Hoerner. He was employed with Osram Sylvania for 40 years in their metallurgy lab until his retirement in 2008. A member of Covenant Moravian Church, he enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, loved watching his grandchildren play sports and for many years he made jewelry. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hoerner is also survived by one son, Brandon D. Hoerner and wife, Jenny of Dallastown; three grandchildren, Montania, Zackari and Dakota; two brothers, Arthur Hoerner of Dover and Bryan Hoerner of Hanover; one sister, Donna Ruppert of Myrtle Beach, SC and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Moravian Church, 901 Cape Horn Rd, York, Pa 17402.
