Craig A. Parr

THOMASVILLE - Craig A. Parr, 39, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Perry County. He was the husband of Heidi C. (Baylor) Parr, to whom he was married to for nine years. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with his pastor, The Rev. Dr. Bayse H. "Bud" Reedy officiating. A viewing will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Paradise (Holtzschwamm) Union Cemetery. Born August 15, 1968 in Hanover, the son of Roger L. and Joan M. (Teal) Parr and was a 1987 graduate of Dover Area High School. Craig worked for Progressive Services, Inc. and was a member of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene and the Susquehanna Yacht Club. He enjoyed boating on the Susquehanna River, Raystown Lake, and snowmobiling. Craig will be remembered as a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his wife and children. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Parr is survived by two sons; Jacob H. and Jackson B. Parr; a daughter; Jessica L. Parr; his maternal grandmother, Nelda Teal of East Berlin; father and mother in law, Henry and Helen Jean Baylor of Lewisburg; an aunt Karen and husband Brian Ruppert; and several cousins.
