Cory A. Mccartney

DOVER – Cory A. McCartney, 36, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 at UPMC-Harrisburg.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Born March 7, 1988 in York, a son of Sherry L. Slaseman and Richard E. McCartney of Dover; he was a graduate of Central York High School. Cory enjoyed working on lawn mowers and going camping.

In addition to his parents, Cory is survived by four siblings, Richard E. McCartney, II and wife Angel of Etters, Justin M. McCartney and wife Tracey of Dover, Jessica A. Keim and husband Matthew of Middletown, and Jason M. McCartney and wife Val of McSherrystown; paternal grandparents, Ellis and Julia McCartney of York Haven; numerous aunts and uncles; two nieces and a nephew.
