Corrine E. (Boyer) Billet

YORK – Corrine E. (Boyer) Billet, 77, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Manor Care – South. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Billet. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with her son in law, Pastor Mark Peterman officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Born March 8, 1936 in York a daughter of the late Edward and Ada (Altland) Boyer, she had waitressed part-time at the Hawks Club in her younger years. Corrine then worked as a seamstress and retired from Bern Haven Sewing Factory. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, traveling, and going to see various country music bands. She was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church. Corrine is survived by a daughter, Susan L. and husband Mark Peterman of Mililani, HI; two sons, Steven E. and wife Lisa Billet of York and Robert E. Billet, II and wife Linda of Hummelstown; eight grandchildren, Bradley, Erin, Shaundi, Kaleo, Amy, Kanoe, Joshua, Ashley; eight great grandchildren, Molly, Travis, Hope, Kaliko, Kyla, Shai, Aiden, and Ethan; a sister, Betty and husband Robert Sampsell of York; and close family friend, Mary Schaeberle. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Boyer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 745 W. Governor Rd., Hershey, PA 17033.
