Constance Mcnunis

Hanover Township - Constance McNunis, 69, of Hanover Township passed away Saturday in General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Ashley on October 27, 1939, she was a daughter of the late John and Constance (Patsey) Slavitsko. She was a graduate of Ashley High School and prior to retirement was employed at Maternal and Family Health Services. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and loved reading, visiting the beach and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Slavitsko Connie is survived by her children, Connie Nasser and her husband Ed, Lake Mary, FL; Susan Vesely and her husband Steve, Pittsburgh, PA; Donna Sirak, Baltimore, MD; Carl McNunis, Hanover Twp.; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Judy Donaldson, and Doris Slavitsko, both of Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 7:30 PM at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call from 6:00-7:30 PM.
