Red Lion – Connie L. (Anderson) Bernhard, 76, passed away at York Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was the wife of (Ret.) Senior Master Sergeant Kenneth Abram Bernhard of the USAF, to whom she was married for 57 years. Born on March 16, 1944 in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Viola M. (Moyer) Anderson. She was a graduate from Donegal High School. Before retiring, Connie worked for Royal American Management, Inc. in Panama City, Florida. She was an avid quilter and an active member of the St. Andrew Bay Quilter’s Guild, Inc. She was especially proud to have won some awards and ribbons for her beautifully crafted quilts over the years at their quilt shows. After her recent move to Red Lion, PA, she attended several meetings at the York County Quilter’s Guild. Connie is survived by two daughters, Lea Ann Bernhard and Alane Klepper and husband, David; three grandchildren, Delaney, Quinn and Riley Klepper, and two sisters, Jean Peck and Lois Myers. She is preceded in death by her sister, Lt. Colonel Irene Anderson of the USAF. She will be inurned at Indiantown Gap Nation Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
