YORK – Con Thi Vu, 96, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Phat Van Vu. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 219 S. Beaver Street, York with Rev. Hoa Nguyen officiating. A viewing will be held from 6-9:00 PM Friday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Born October 17, 1917 in Luc Thuy, Xuan Truong – Bui Chu, Vietnam, she and her late husband immigrated to the US in 1975. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mrs. Vu is survived by a son, Hai N. Vu and wife Van of York; four daughters, Thin Vu and husband Tinh Tran of California, Loan Vu and husband Ton Nguyen of California, Yen Vu and husband Long Duong of York, and Dao Vu and husband Thuy Pham of Vietnam; 27 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 118 Pleasant Acres Rd., York, PA 17402.
