Colleen (Boone) Dyer

SEVEN VALLEYS - Colleen (Boone) Dyer, 86, of Springfield Township, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Vernon J. Ryer, Alfred Griffith and Peter T. Dyer. Services will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Dyer was born in Glenville, WV on March 15, 1925, daughter of the late Farrell W. and Myrtha (Conklin) Boone. Mrs. Dyer retired as a superintendant at USF&G Insurance Company. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star; was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Dyer leaves two sons, William J. Ryer and his wife Sandy of Seven Valleys and Vernon D. Ryer and his wife Pat of Punta Gorda, FL; three grandchildren, Chris Ryer, Carly Ryer, and Kenneth Ryer; and a great granddaughter, Lexi Ryer.
