Cloyd L. Shaub

YORK- Cloyd L. Shaub, 64, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Grove) Shaub to whom he was married 13 years. Born April 16, 1952 in York, Cloyd was a son of the late William Z. and Thelma A. (Collins) Shaub. He worked as a roofer for various companies in the area. Cloyd attended the York United Methodist Church. He loved country music and playing golf. Mr. Shaub served our country in the United States Marine Corp for three years and later for a year in the United States Army. In addition to his wife, Cloyd is survived by a daughter, Angie; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Miller; a step grandson, Aiden; three brothers, his twin brother Clyde Shaub and his wife Dierdre, Bruce Shaub, and Daniel Shaub and his wife Brenda, and a sister, Lorna Foor and her husband Dell. Along with his parents, Cloyd was preceded in death by a brother, Dale N. Shaub and a sister Arlene Stine. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N.
