Clive B. Hoffman

Clive B. "BUCK" Hoffman, 85 of Mill Hall died Monday, January 10, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1925 in Renovo the son of Edward and Mildred (Dailey) Hoffman. Buck was married on May 25, 1946 to the former Mary Ann Stiver they celebrated 64 years of marriage together. He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and later worked for Ugite Gas Company now Amerigas and he retired from Webb Construction. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, V.F.W. #1630, American Legion of Lock Haven. He was an avid auto mechanic. He served in Army during WW II and was a P.O.W. for one year. Surviving are his wife, one daughter Sandra (Norman) Hoffman-Kline of Lock Haven and two grandchildren Francesca and Richard and his wife Jesse also three great grandsons Garret, Kaden, and Carson. The funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 13, 2010 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the S.P.C.A. 33 Mill Hill Road, Lock Haven, PA 17745.
