YORK – Clifford S. “Cliff” Myers, 51, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at his home surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Brenda K. (Thoman) Myers. The couple was married on April 24, 2010. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 11 AM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A visitation will be Saturday from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Paradise (Holtzschwamm) Union Cemetery in Thomasville. Cliff was born on January 17, 1960 in Hanover. He was a son of Clarence E. and Nancy (Zepp) Myers. Cliff worked as a professional truck driver for 23 years, most recently employed at Kinard Trucking, Inc. and formerly at Beverage Transportation. Cliff loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was an avid rider. He was a lover of all animals and nature, and liked to work and craft with wood. He enjoyed fishing at the Rappahannock River in Virginia, spending time outdoors, swimming and all kinds of music. Cliff was a kind-hearted man who loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Cliff is survived by two daughters, Emma and Virginia Myers of Hanover; a step-daughter, Amanda Myers of York; two granddaughters, Lilibeth and Abriella; two brothers, Bradley Myers and wife Tammy and Steven Myers and wife Gail all of Hanover; three nephews and one niece; and a devoted pup Christopher.
