Cleopatra S. Beverly

YORK – Cleopatra S. Beverly, of York and formerly of Washington D.C., passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services -South in York. She was the wife of the late Ralph H. Beverly. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 5-6:00 PM. Burial will be in Maryland National Memorial Park in Laurel, MD. Mrs. Beverly was born on May 28, 1915 in Washington D.C., the daughter of the late Clifton and Alverta. She had retired from the U.S. Department of Labor. She was a charter member of Las Amigas Social Club in Washington D.C., a member of the Lambda Kappa Mu sorority, and was a longtime member of the Lincoln Memorial Temple Church, UCC. Mrs. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Patricia B. Petrosino of York; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
