RENOVO - Cleo Batschelet Bartoletti, 100, Mother, Artist, and Businesswoman, of Peachtree City, GA died Tuesday, February 7, 2017. She was the wife of the late Harry S. Batschelet to whom she was married for 23 years, and her late second husband Joseph Bartoletti of 25 years. Born in Galeton, PA on December 19, 1916. She was a member of the Woman’s Club of Renovo, Catholic Daughters of America, and Lock Haven Arts Council where she served as an officer. She was active in numerous clubs well into her 90’s. After Harry died in 1961, Cleo inherited the Renovo Heating Company. She was advised by the trust company to shut it down but Cleo refused. She ran the company for nine years with the help of her friend, Rosemary Bouse. The business was finally closed in May of 1970 due to the deteriorating condition of the plant. Cleo is survived by daughter, Susan Dunn and husband, Bill of Peachtree City, GA; son Harry Batschelet and wife, Luanne of Marietta, NY; step-daughter, Susan Bartoletti of Corona del Mar, CA; step-son, Joseph Bartoletti of Bonita Springs, FL; five grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and a lifelong friend Rosemary Bouse. In addition to her beloved husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Jack Culver; and one sister, Eleanor McDonald. The service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner with the Rev. Donald Dusza officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo is in charge of arrangements.
