Clayton J. Horn, Jr.

YORK- Clayton J. Horn, Jr., 89, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Kingston Ct. He was the husband of the late Loretta Horn and the late Sylvia Schmuck. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Dr. G. Edwin Zeiders officiating. A viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on December 3, 1932 in Windsor Twp., he was a son of the late Clayton J. and Alverta (Emenheiser) Horn. Clayton was a sander at Zell Brothers for many years. After retiring, he picked grapes at Naylor Winery, now Allegro Winery. Mr. Horn is survived by two sons, Ray Schmuck of York and Troy Horn and his wife, Billi Jo of Pottsville; four daughters, Darlene Horn of Windsor, Madeline LeSage and her husband, Jerry of Ocala, FL, Teresa Horn Lewis of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Donna Allman of York; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way; one step son; two step daughters; four step grandchildren; and one step great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Eugene Horn; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Lydia Swords and Grace VanHart.
