Claribel Mamolen

New York City - Claribel Mamolen, 101 of New York City, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 12, 1908 in Ralston the daughter of Hyman and Margaret (Finkelstein) Mamolen. Claribel retired from B. Altman & Company Department Store in New York City after many years of service. Surviving are; one nephew Richard Mamolen of Seattle, WA and a niece Dr. Margaret Mamolen of Bellingham, WA. Also surviving are 4 cousins Gertrude Wainger of Williamsport, Dr. Donald Freedman and Morton Spector both of Harrisburg, PA and Sandra Foreman of White Plains, NY. She is also survived by a special caregiver Janice White. A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Beth Yehuda Cemetery, Lock Haven with Rabbi Shaul Rappeport officiating. Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
