Clarence L. Isbell, Age 79, of 4111 Austinville Road, Columbia Cross Roads, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born October 11, 1931 in Towanda, son of the late Leslie W. and Maude H. (Coolbaugh) Isbell. He attended Luthers Mills Elementary and Troy High Schools. Clarence and the former Aileen E. Bronson were married June 28, 1951 and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this summer. He was retired from GTE Sylvania in 1991 and had previously worked at Kennedy Valve, the Pennsylvania State Highway Department, Hauling Milk but he was a farmer at heart and enjoyed working the land. Clarence was a member of the Luthers Mills Church and enjoyed farming, tractor shows, woodworking and carpentry, football, playing cards and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife Aileen E. Isbell of Austinville, his children, Audrey Allen, Leslie Isbell, Cathy Burlingame, Steven Isbell, Allissa Senn and Ted Isbell, brothers, Alfred Isbell, Clifford Isbell his twin, grandchildren, Jason Allen, Ryan Allen, Matthew Allen, Jamie Edington, Robbie Isbell, Sandra Isbell, Kyle Isbell, John Senn, Jim Senn, Ben Senn, Aimee Isbell, Andrew Isbell, Allison Isbell, Janna Isbell, Jamie Gilbert, Shawn Gilbert, John Gilbert, Heather Gilbert, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, three brothers Floyd Isbell, James Isbell, Alton Isbell and his two sisters Blanche Sheridan and Elizabeth Finnerty predeceased Clarence. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, March 9, 2001 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Clarences funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 12 Noon with his son-in-law, William Senn officiating. Interment will be in Bradford County Memorial Park.
