Clara A. (Moebus) Naumann

Clara A. (Moebus) Naumann, 94, of York, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at York Lutheran Home @ Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of The Reverend George R. Naumann. The couple celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on June 16, 2012. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2580 Mount Rose Ave., in York. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. The Reverend John Duran will be officiating at the service. Mrs. Naumann was born in Bishop, TX on September 25, 1918, the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Lydia F. (Kilian) Moebus. She was a homemaker and worked as a Nursing Assistant at York Hospital. Mrs. Naumann was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in York and was a member of Yorktown Tennis Club. Mrs. Naumann leaves five sons, Paul L. Naumann of Reading, Terrance A, Naumann of King George, VA, Mark A. Naumann of Glen Burnie, MD, George R. Naumann, II of Williamsburg, KY, and Joseph L. Naumann of Dallastown; a daughter, Tammi J. Naumann of Harlingen, TX; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
