Clair W. Gantz

Clair W. Gantz, 81, died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Henrietta B. “Prim” Gantz. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born January 13, 1935 in Dallastown, he was a son of the late Noah Gantz, Sr., and Ruth (Deardorff) Gantz. He was employed with BICC Cables for several years as a shop foreman until his retirement in 1996. Clair was a member of the Viking and Prince Athletic Associations. He is survived by two sons, Scott K. Gantz and his wife, Debbie of Spring Grove and Christopher L. Gantz and his signifigant other, Angela of Manchester; four grandchildren, Crystal, Tammy, Evan, Brooke; one great grandson, River; one brother, Robert Gantz and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Noah Jr., and Donald Gantz.
