Clair 'Jim' Bradley

YORK- Clair “Jim” Bradley, 69, of Springettsbury Township, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Janice M. “Jan” Bradley and leaves his loving companion, Diana R. Haugh. A Graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York with Full military honors by York County Veterans Honor Guard. The Reverend Sterling Trimmer, Jr. will be officiating at the service. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Bradley was born in Bellefonte, PA on April 14, 1942, son of the late Blair C. and Eleanor E. (Powers) Bradley. He retired with 31 years of service from Precision Components Corporation in 1998. Mr. Bradley graduated from Bellefonte Area High School, served in the US Army (Airborne) in Panama. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a life member of: North American Hunting Club, Liberty Social Club, 13th Ward Political Club, Hawk’s Gunning Club; and was a member of Pleasureville American Legion, Post 799, Coffee Run Fishing Club, and International Association of Machinists, 1403, retired. Along with his companion, Mr. Bradley leaves step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, three sisters, Geraldine Carra of Grayson, KY, Kathleen Shawver of Lusby, MD, and Barbara Noll of Dover. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine A. Hancock and a sister, Nancy J. Lutz.
