RED LION- Clair E. Yohe, 80, of Windsor Township, died, Monday, August 29, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services Kingston Court. He was the husband of Charlotte I. (Rittenhouse) Yohe. The couple celebrated their 57th Wedding anniversary on June 5th. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. His pastor, The Reverend Ronald E. Heagy will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military honors by Dallastown American Legion. Mr. Yohe was born in Rossville on June 24, 1931, son of the late Luther Albert and Bertha Rebeca (Nell) Yohe. He retired from Automotive Service in York. Mr. Yohe was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Freysville, Red Lion VFW, Dallastown American Legion, and Hopewell Fish and Game. He was a US Army veteran who served in the Korean War. Along with his wife Mr. Yohe leaves a son, Marvin Yohe and his wife Connie of Red Lion; a daughter, Donna I. Wallick and her husband Todd of Red Lion, four grandchildren, Tara Yohe, Thomas Yohe, Brady Wallick, and Bryan Wallick and his wife Dalena; and a great granddaughter, Kylie Wallick. He also leaves a brother, Russell Yohe of Felton; and two sisters, Anna Mae Leiphart of Brogue and Betty Yohe of Red Lion. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Charles Yohe; and four sisters, Marie Warner, Catherine Eckert, Ruth Olphin, and Velma Yohe. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Church, 1625 Windsor Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356.
