Cindy L. (Mann) Portner

York—Cindy L. (Mann) Portner, 64, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care of Mt. Joy. She was the wife of Richard P. Portner. The couple celebrated 45 years of marriage on April 24th. A gathering to celebrate her life will begin at 1 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at VFW Post 556, 333 Eberts Lane, York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born August 15, 1951 in York, she was a daughter of the late Donald L. and Lillian M. (Davis) Mann. She was employed as an administrative assistant with Community Settlement for the past 18 years. A life time member of VFW Post 556—York, she was also a member of Liverpool American Legion, Realtors Assoc of York & Adams Counties, South Central PA Land Title Assoc. and a 1969 graduate of William Penn Sr. High School. In addition to husband, Mrs. Portner is also survived by three children, Wade E. Portner and his wife, Brenda of York, Stacey L. Trimmer and her husband, Chad of York and Brice W. Portner and his girlfriend, Maria of York; one grandson, Wade C. Portner; three siblings, Donna Rawhouser of Shiloh, Donald Mann of Lower Windsor and William Mann of Florida; two fur grandbabies, Romeo and Lexi and several nieces and nephews.
