Christopher L. 'Chris' White

EAST PROSPECT Christopher L. “Chris” White, 29, died Monday morning, October 6, 2014 at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Shannon (Mejo) White with whom he celebrated a 10th wedding anniversary on February 21, 2014. A viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 10, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with a service to celebrate Chris’s life beginning at 8:00 PM. A graveside service will also be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Windsor Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Cademartori, pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, Stewartstown will officiate. Chris was born in Baltimore on September 3, 1985, the son of William and Malinda (Johnson) White of Felton. He was a car enthusiast and was employed as an auto mechanic with Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service in Lancaster. Volkswagens and Audis were among his favorites. Chris also enjoyed collecting a variety of items, including his Matchbox cars. In addition to his wife and parents, Chris is also survived by his son, Bryan; his daughter, Alexis; his sister, Maria and Michael Malone of Yoe; his maternal grandmother, Romaine Johnson of Baltimore; and his paternal grandmother, Doris White, also of Baltimore.
