Christine M. Parker

WELLSBURG, NY Christine M. Parker Age 45, of West Water Street, Elmira New York passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center following a brief illness. Christine was born November 4, 1961 in Binghamton New York the daughter of Helen Gail (Bronson) Walicke and Richard T. Walicke, Sr. She was married to Raymond L. Parker, III on April 5, 1980 in Big Flats, NY. Christine had been previously employed by Sugar Creek Stores, Hoss's Steak House and by Steak & Sub at Arnot Mall. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church in Elmira. Christine enjoyed collecting stuffed mice, articles and material on Princess "Lady" Dianna, working on her crafts and seeing the ocean. She was deeply devoted to and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time she shopped frequently with Wal-Mart being her favorite place to shop. Survivors include her loving husband Raymond L. Parker III of Elmira, her mother, Helen Gail Walicke of Binghamton, NY, father, Richard T. Walicke, Sr. of Tacoma, WA, two daughters, Christy Turner and Amanda (Dennis) Kirk all of Elmira, two grandsons, Gordon and Ethan Parker, brothers and sister-in-law, Richard T. (Tonya) Walicke, Jr. of Austin, TX, Henry A. Walicke of the West Coast, Robert J. Walicke of Kirkwood, NY, a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth P. (Allan) Belcher of S. Waverly, PA, several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, N.Y. And again from 10 to 11 AM Thursday, August 23, 2007. Her funeral will follow at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg, NY.
