Christina R. Mellinger

RED LION-Christine Rosa Mellinger, 65, slipped peacefully away on June 16, 2022 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Loved by so many, including her husband of 47 years, Wayne Mellinger, daughters Stephanie Mellinger and Amy Mellinger, her parents Elwood & Romaine Olewiler, sisters Sandra Olewiler, Diane Orndorf and brother James Olewiler and their families. Her kindness, generosity, willingness to talk to or help anyone, and her cooking, baking and canning prowess, will be missed by the many, many people whose lives she touched and enriched. After raising her daughters, Christine was a trusted Senior Tax Analyst and Instructor for H&R Block for more than 20 years. As a lifelong animal lover, and beneficiary of therapy dogs while hospitalized, in lieu of flowers please make a contribution to KPETS (Keystone Pet Therapy Services) at kpets.org or your local ASPCA/animal shelter.
