Chris E. Miller

York—Chris E. Miller, 49, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in Manchester Township. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born February 9, 1964 in Windber, he was a son of R. Dean and Sandra G. (Callihan) Miller of Dillsburg. He was previously employed as a technician in the IT department with Associated Wholesalers. Chris loved being on the water, he spent lots of time at Raystown Lake waterskiing and boating. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a versatile handy man that bought and remodeled several homes for resale. In addition to his parents, Chris is also survived by one brother, Jeffrey D. Miller and wife, Melanie of Red Lion; two sisters, Anita J. Weber and husband, Michael of Dover and Joni D. Rudy and husband, Cameron of E. Berlin; faithful companion and best friend, Gwen A. Gemmill of York; several nieces and nephews; two great nieces and his dog, Kasey. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Gabriel A. Rudy.
