AUSTINVILLE- Chester M. Kutt, 68, of Austinville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Jean A. (Kratzer) Kutt. The couple married May 9, 1959 and had 51 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 3:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Chesters life will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 30th at the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Michael McCormick of St. Michaels Parish in Canton, PA officiating. Chester was born on April 27, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Martin and Stella (Bialobrzeski) Kutt. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years and later was a welder for New Yorker Steel Boiler. In his younger years, Chester enjoyed flying model airplanes and belonged to the Buckley Model Airplane Club, and after moving to Bradford County he enjoyed hunting with his sons. Chester was Roman Catholic by faith. Chester is survived by his loving wife Jean, his children: John (Kathy) Kutt of Quakertown, PA, Richard (Natalie) Kutt of Towanda, PA, Angela (Steve) Rapko of Downingtown, PA, Robin Villa of Williamsport, PA, and Sherree (Michael) Wishwanick of Gillett, PA, his grandchildren: John Kutt, Jr., Michael Kutt, Justin Kutt, Steven Kutt, and Katrina Kutt, his 13 great grandchildren, his brothers: Edward (Helen) Kutt of Hereford, PA, Martin (Linda) Kutt of Green Lane, PA, Alexander (Mary) Kutt of Sellersville, PA, and Francis Kutt of Akron, PA, along with several nieces and nephews. Chester was preceded in death by his parents, and his son and daughter-in-law Chester Jr. and Lynn Kutt. Memorial contributions may be made in Chesters memory to the American Cancer Society, 1948 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
