Cheryl L. Anthony

TROY, PA - Cheryl L. Anthony, Age 60, of 190 West Main Street, Troy, PA passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 at Troy Community Hospital. She was born August 4, 1950 in Pottstown, PA daughter of John A. Anthony, Sr. M.D. and the late Jean I. (Stacy) Anthony. Cheryl lived at Martha Lloyd Community located in Troy, PA. During her time at Martha Lloyd, Cheryl worked in the beauty shop and the Copper Tree. She was baptized Methodist but loved attending any church service where she could sing along with the hymns. Cheryl loved holidays and Christmas was her favorite. Her hobbies included coloring and latch hook crafts. She found great joy in giving them to her nieces and nephews whom she adored. She loved her family deeply and took pride in knowing which day of the week their birthdays fell on each year. She also enjoyed watching movies, musicals and visiting McDonalds. Survivors include her loving father John A. Anthony, Sr. M.D., a sister and brother-in-law, Gail P. & Neil Greenburg of Philadelphia, PA, two brothers and sisters-in-law, John A. Jr. and Debbie Anthony, of Pottstown, PA, Mark S. Anthony, M.D and his wife, Rosemary of Horseheads, NY, nieces and nephews, Lauren, Daniel, Michael, Jonathan, Allison, Maxwell, Gabe, Griffin, Julia, and new great-nephew, Henry, many cousins, friends and caregivers at the Martha Lloyd Community. Cheryl was predeceased by her loving mother Jean I. Anthony. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Orchard View Senior Center at the Martha Lloyd Community, 66 Lloyd Lane, Troy, PA 16947. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Martha Lloyd Fund, 66 Lloyd Lane, Troy, PA 16947.
