Charmaine M. (Updegraff) Lehr

Dover—Charmaine M. (Updegraff) Lehr, 80, died Wednesday March 16, 2016 at her residence in Dover Township. She was the wife of Robert E. Lehr to whom she was married for 65 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:30 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Community Building of Thunderbird Terrace Park located off of Fox Run Rd, Dover. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born August 15, 1935 in Goldsboro, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. Updegraff, Sr., and Louella E. (Stare) Updegraff. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Asst., with Manor Care Health Services—North. She enjoyed painting crafts, knitting and camping. Mrs. Lehr is survived by one daughter, Sharon A. Ness; six sons, Geary E. Lehr (Steph), Gregg A. Lehr (Vicki), Galen S. Lehr (Clarese), Robert J. Lehr, Barry L. Lehr (Cindy) and Rodney W. Lehr; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Barry S. Updegraff ; two sisters, Mary E. Noll and Nancy J. Corle and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Updegraff and one brother, Robert F. Updegraff.
