Charmaine L. (Dennis) Myers

York—Charmaine L. (Dennis) Myers, 84, passed away, Sunday, December 18, 2016 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Home at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late Gerald W. Myers to whom she was married for 58 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:30PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Eddie D.D. Miller. A visitation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held 2:30PM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Born March 16, 1932 in York, she was a daughter of the late Hilda H. (Dennis) and Lloyd Givens. She was a caring and dedicated homemaker, who loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting. Mrs. Myers is survived by two daughters, Deborah A. Sweitzer and husband, Blaine of Dover and Donna L. Ferree and husband Randy of Dover; five grandchildren, Matthew W. Sweitzer and wife, Angela of Dover, Amanda C. Nolan and husband, Sean of York, Mitchell D. Sweitzer and wife, Amy of Glenville, Vanessa M. Marshall of Dover and Derrick S. Ferree of Dover; six great grandchildren, Alexander M. and Kathlynn A. Sweitzer, Natalie R. and Isabella R. Nolan and Garland R. III and Kenzie M. Marshall; two brothers, William L. Givens and Curvin H. Givens; one sister, Sharon H. Fizer and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jacqueline L. Rudy.
