Charlotte R. 'Chots' (Gentzler) Meyers

YORK Charlotte R. Chots (Gentzler) Meyers, 89, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Rest Haven York. She was the wife of the late John C. Meyers.A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 AM Wednesday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held in Greenmount Cemetery.Born July 15, 1921 in York a daughter of the late Bert E. and Gertrude V. (Henry) Gentzler, she was a 1939 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Chots enjoyed playing cards and was a former member of Shiloh American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.Mrs. Meyers is survived by two daughters, Pamela A. Eckert of Dallastown and Patricia J. and husband Alan Albright of York; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
