Charlotte N. Macgregor

Mill Hall - Charlotte N. (Simcox) MacGregor, 98, a resident of Nightengales Assisted Living died peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2009. She was born September 17, 1910 in Lock Haven the daughter of Byron and Mahalia (Brickley) Simcox. She was married to Vaughn E. MacGregor, Sr. who died in 1995. Charlotte worked in the cafeteria at Lock Haven State College. She was an avid Penn State fan and she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are one son Vaughn E. (Gloria) MacGregor, Jr. of Sandy Lake, PA, Mae (Roland) Hall of Williamsport, Janet (Fred) Kershner of Montoursville, Peggy (Charles) Donahay of Flemington, Joyce Campbell of Lancaster, CA and Cathy Mattingly of Knoxville, TN and Carole (Brian) Hunt of Lewes, DE, sixteen grandchildren several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Community Nursing of Clinton County, 124 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, PA 17745 Private interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
