Charlotte E. Lee

TROY, PA - Charlotte E. Lee, Age 88, formerly of Miller Terrace, Troy, PA passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2012 at the Bradford County Manor, West Burlington, PA following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 25, 1923 in New Albany, PA daughter of the late Richard and Evelyn (Kipp) Scott. Charlotte worked at Eureka in Troy and later at the Troy Pennysaver. She and her husband Louis L. Lee were married on June 28, 1966 in Chihuahua, Mexico and celebrated 45 years together. Both Charlotte and Louis were active members in the Happy Handle C.B. Club and enjoyed camping. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting. Survivors include her husband Louis L. Lee of W. Burlington, PA, son and daughter-in-law, Stuart & Carol Wilcox of Pine City, NY, daughters and son-in-law, Lois & John Finch of Wyalusing, PA, and Dorothy Bacon of Horseheads, NY, sisters, Rita Lauper of Millport, NY, and Eva & Stanley, Arnold of Pine City, NY, twelve grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends. Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, a sister Frances Lee, a brother Richard Scott and her daughter Phyllis Gage. Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Her funeral and committal service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 2 PM with Reverend Garry Zuber officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Hillside Cemetery, Big Pond, PA.
