Charlotte (Dull) Varner

Manchester Township- Charlotte (Dull) Varner, 77 of York, died, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Advent Lutheran Church, 1775 East Market Street in York, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. at the church. The Reverend David L. Ritterpusch will be officiating at the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Varner was born in Emigsville on June 7, 1935, daughter of the late Gurna and Ellen Jane (Seitz) Dull. She retired from the former York Bank and Trust Company, where she was a Trust Officer. Mrs. Varner was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in York. She loved her grandchildren and was an avid dog lover. Mrs. Varner leaves a son, John E. Varner and his wife Susan of York; two grandchildren, Ellen and Matthew Varner; a brother, Carl Dull of York. Two brothers, Phillip and Donald Dull, preceded her in death.
