Charles Warren

YORK - Charles Warren, 70, died Monday, February 9, 2009, at Brunswick at Longstown. He was the husband of Sondra Jean (Berenyi) Warren, to whom he was married for 49 years. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Warren was born April 26, 1938 in Waymart, PA a son of the late Harry and Mary (Singer) Warren. He was a former employee of the Star Ledger News Paper in N.J. for over 10 years until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by two daughters, Kelly E. Fitzpatrick and husband Ed of York, and Kimberly A. Piatkowski and husband Edward of York; a son Shaun D. Warren of NJ; five grandchildren, Kasey, Voshon, and Briana Fitzpatrick, and Brianna and Austin Piatkowski, all of York; two brothers, Daryl Warren of Mansfield, PA and Don Warren of Orefield, PA; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved pug, Penni.
