Charles W. Olewiler

WINDSOR - Charles W. Olewiler, 86, passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at ECC Retirement Village in Myerstown, Lebanon County. He was the husband of the late Flo G. (Knaub) Olewiler. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with his pastor, The Rev. Ersel Staples officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Blymire's UCC Cemetery with Full Military Rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born July 11, 1922 in Chanceford Twp. a son of the late Francis D. and Bertha M. (Sawmiller) Olewiler, he retired from General Defense Co. Mr. Olewiler was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Olewiler is survived by a daughter, Malinda M. Jones of Fredericksburg, PA; a brother, Dean Olewiler of Red Lion; and a sister, Dorothy Billett of Shiloh.
