Williamsport- Charles V. Daniels, Jr. "CJ", 21, returned to the Lord Tuesday, May 22, 2007. He was the beloved son of the Rev. Charles V. and First Lady, Norma J. (Gentry) Daniels. CJ was born in Dennison, TX on May 23, 1985. He attended Trabucco Hills High School, Mission Viejo, CA where he was a talented and celebrated athlete. He played football, baseball, and basketball. CJ was a fan of all sports and he enjoyed motorcycles. He was on the Dean's List at Clarion University and was a member of the Black Student Union. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church where he played drums for the congregation. Family and friends were of utmost importance to him. A viewing will be held from 8-9:00am Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 527 Park Ave., Williamsport. The funeral tribute service will begin at 9am at the church with the Bishop Marvin C. Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. The Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 331 Elmira St., Williamsport arranged services. In addition to his parents, CJ is survived by a sister, Shaunna L. Daniels of Williamsport; a fianc窠Donya L. Jones, a daughter, Hannah D. Jones and her sister, Daniah T. Jones, all of New Castle, DE; grandparents, Vaughn Z. Daniels and Lawrence and Ruby (Miller) Gentry, both of Whitewright, TX; a god daughter, Tashana Gadson of Williamsport; a god brother, Tony Freeman of Williamsport; four god sisters, Whitney Harley of Williamsport and Elizabeth Epps,Victoria Epps, and Jessica Epps, all of Mission Viejo, CA; all of his beloved aunts and uncles but had a special place for Aunt Albennetta Dixon of Dallas, TX; his CA family, Harold and Li Ping Epps, and a very large extended family and many loving friends. His grandfather, Steward George M. Daniels, precedes him in death.
