Charles 'Terry' Russell

WINDSOR – Charles “Terry” Russell, 69, passed away January 26, 2013 at his home. He was the companion of the late Wanda K. Russell. Private funeral services and burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born July 31, 1943 in York a son of Charles E. Russell of York and the late Catherine (Corcoran) Russell, he was a 1961 graduate of York Catholic High School. He had retired from Gichner Mobile Systems. Terry enjoyed fishing and traveling in his motor home. In his younger days he was a HAM radio operator. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. In addition to his father, Mr. Russell is survived by two daughters, Kathi and husband Tom Chesnut of Mercersburg, PA and Kris and husband Darrel of Chambersburg; two sons, Charles T. “Rocky” Russell, Jr. and wife Chris of Colorado Springs, CO and John F. Russell and wife Christel of Falling Waters, WV; a stepdaughter, Jo Lynn Yohe of York; eight grandchildren; two great grandsons; two brothers, Tom and Tony Russell both of York; two sisters, Ann Becker of York and Anita Shepherd of Orlando, FL; and four nieces.
