WILKES-BARRE- Charles John Glaush, 74, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Hospice Community Care, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Born on June 22, 1935 in Pringle, he was a son of the late John and Dorothy (Roberts) Glaush. Charles was a Pringle High School graduate who served five years in the U.S. Air Force. He was formerly employed by Heavenly Shoes, Hanover Township and then retired from Roth Novelty, Wilkes-Barre. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Sutton; and a brother, Frank Glaush. Surviving are wife of 53 years, Barbara A. (Roth) Glaush, Wilkes-Barre; sons, Charles "Buddy" Glaush Jr., Wilkes-Barre, Mark Glaush, Mountain Top; daughters, Shirleymae Glaush, Kingston; Leona Krantz, Nanticoke; Hilda Mendoza, Mountain Top; Bonnie Maslowski, Plymouth; Lorie Perrins, Wilkes-Barre; brother John Glaush, Plymouth; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8:00 p.m. from the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Knorr of Mountain Top Family Center. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Wyoming, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
