Charles H. Crossley

Charles H. Crossley, 97, of North Bend, passed away, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo. He was born April 16, 1918 in Jamison City, PA a son of Jacob and Ada (Hess) Crossley. Charles was married on July 16, 1940 to the former Elsie M. Lucas. They celebrated 74 years of marriage together. He worked for Boeing Aircraft in Philadelphia and retired after several years. Charles was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Renovo. He enjoyed taking care of his home, playing euchre and hunting and fishing. Surviving are his loving wife; two daughters; Mary E. (L. James) Stahl of Renovo and Patricia Bibey of North Bend. Five grandchildren Charles, Richard, Gina, Angela and Jolene. Nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandson Connor. He was preceded in death by two brothers Louis “Duke” Crossley and Albert Crossley also two sisters Neva Chancel and Maude Hevner. A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
