Charles Fredrick Fricke

GLENVILLE- Charles Fredrick “Chuck” Fricke, 64, of Manheim Township, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Darlene L. (Gilleland) Fricke. The couple celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on July 28, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and 9-10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Pastor Allen G. Harris will be officiating at the service. Burial will be at Marburg Memorial Cemetery in Hanover. Chuck was born in Baltimore on April 30, 1957, the son of the late John and Anna (Heber) Fricke. He retired as an electrician for IBEW Local 229. Chuck was a brother at the IBEW 229, where he was the Sergeant of Arms of their motorcycle club. He was a 1976 graduate of Lansdowne High School. Along with his wife, he leaves a daughter, Judy A. Lewis of Albright, WV; two sons, Steven A. Fricke and his wife Heather of Spring Grove and Cody A. Fricke of Hanover; six grandchildren: John “Jay”, Kalleigh, Jeffrey, Kahtlynne, Lucas, and Evelyn; a great granddaughter, Gracelynn; a sister, Theresa Cole of Morgantown, WV; and seven nieces and nephews. A sister, Nancy Repoley had preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Penn State Health Children's Hospital through the Children's Miracle Network.
